Parish Office

Please note that the Parish Office will close at 3pm during the month of July.

 

St Thérèse Evening Mass

Please note that the 7pm Mass in St Thérèse Church will be cancelled from Monday 12th July – 3rd September inclusive. Mass will resume on Monday 6th September.

If you have an Anniversary Mass already booked between these dates could you please contact the Parish Office to make new arrangements.

 

Family Ministry

Will be running a 12 week course Our Faith: Our Church in St Mary’s University College starting late September and running until mid December. More details about the course and application forms will be available in the next few weeks. The Family Ministry office will close for the week beginning 12th July and re-open 19th July.

 

Legion of Mary – Visit of Dutch Legionaries

A group of Dutch Legionaries will visit houses in the Newington (and possibly other areas, time permitting) in the two weeks beginning 26th July. They are spending the fortnight in the Legion Headquarters, Cliftonville Road, and working in Sacred Heart Parish as well. Please give them a warm welcome.

Newington Day Centre

Is hosting a drop-in Hearing Support session for RNID on Monday 19th July and Monday 16th August from 10.30am – 12.30pm. The session will be delivered by 2 experienced Hearing Aid Support Volunteers who can help with changing batteries and with providing information.

 

Holy Family Church Choir

Would you like to join the Choir in Holy Family Church? The Choir sings at 12.30pm Mass each Sunday and rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm. Male or female, if you are interested please come along to the rehearsal on Wednesday evening or contact one of the members after Mass.

This organisation is recruiting participants for the Barcelona Half Marathon in February 2011 and the Derry waterside Half Marathon in September 2010.
