Newington Day Centre
The members who attend the Day Centre are from all areas of North Belfast.The philosophy of the Centre is to promote the independence, well-being, dignity and self-esteem of members. Consequently, the aim of the Centre is to enable people to remain living in the community and to provide support for carers.

Services available at the Centre
Help is available with personal hygiene, hairdressing, chiropody, laundry, hand and nail care and a ‘look after your self’ programme. Carers can avail of the services which include ~ advice, support, aromatherapy.Volunteers are supported by training courses and through regular contact with the Volunteer Manager.Morning and afternoon tea and mid-day meals are served daily.A wide range of social, recreational, occupational and therapeutic activities is offered to members. 

Newington Day Centre is at the heart of Parish life ~ members, carers and visitors alike can be assured of a friendly welcome and professional help.

Wednesday 1.00 – 4.00pm in the Parish Centre.

The aims of the Evergreen Club are to encourage physical and mental well-being and opportunities to socialise in a friendly setting.Activities include ~ keep-fit, painting, crafts, board games and bingo.New Volunteers are always welcome – if you have a few hours to spare, why not call to the Parish Centre on Wednesday afternoon?

Sport and friendship blend together! You are guaranteed a very happy, enjoyable evening. The Club activities extend to friendly matches with neighbouring Church teams.Players of all ages and expertise are welcome.

20 games are played with a cup of tea at half time – new members (learners and experienced) are very welcome.
