Perpetual Adoration of the Most Holy Eucharist –
A Committee comprising Father Paul Strain and a number of parishioners meets regularly to plan and oversee the arrangements for Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration. Mass is celebrated annually for Adorers and their families, followed by refreshments.
Adoration of the Most Holy Eucharist, for the sanctification of Priests and for vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life, started in our parish on 13th October 2010.
Adoration times –
Holy Family Church: Mondays 10.00am – 4.00pm
St. Therese of Lisieux Church: Sunday 1.00pm – Saturday 5.45pm continuously.
New Adorers are always welcome. You are invited to make a commitment for 1 hour per week. Please contact the Parish Office for further details.
Adoration Chapels are open for all Parishioners.
Lectio Divina –
Meetings – every Tuesday morning at 10.00am in the Adoration Room of Holy Family Church. Everyone is very welcome.
This is a method of prayer where we take the Sunday Gospel and read it over and over again. We should be aware that God is speaking to us. We are challenged. We respond.
The passage may stimulate prayers of thanksgiving, petition and praising God.
Taize Prayer Around The Cross
Prayer Around the Cross incorporating the beautiful Taize Chants takes place on the last Friday of every month [except December, July and August] at 8.00pm in Holy Family Church. You are warmly invited to come and join us for a quiet hour of prayer, chant and rest for the soul. Refreshments are served afterwards in the Gathering Space.
