Message of Thanks from Stella Maris: 

Dear Fr. Michael and the team at Holy Family,

I am writing to you with immense gratitude for your work with the shoe box appeal for Christmas presents for seafarers. The seafarers were bowled over by the local support for their work and it no doubt made being apart from loved ones a little more bearable. Many of the seafarers we encounter on a day-to-day basis are Catholic and these gifts were a real reminder to them that they are part of the universal church, plugged into a network of faithful who support each other through prayer and action. The fact the people have thought about them is their greatest joy in what can be a tough life at sea. I have attached some images of the gifts being delivered by myself and Peter Hume. Finally, it only remains to thank you, most sincerely, once more and to assure you of our prayers and support.
